Support Center - Marketing


The Catering Sales Associate will play a large role to proactively increase catering sales revenues across the San Diego market. This role is responsible for building local relationships/ securing catering sales, executing marketing plans and motivating the market to exceed offsite sales goals. This role will have the opportunity to take on broader field marketing responsibilities, including executing local marketing campaigns and events, supporting franchise marketing efforts, or assisting the creation of national philanthropy programs.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Grow catering sales across the San Diego market through prospecting and direct/outside sales efforts in both corporate and community settings to meet monthly targets
  • Create and execute quarterly / annual action plans to ensure established catering sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and contribute ideas to marketing plans and strategies to achieve catering sales growth. Analyze marketing tactic effectiveness and make & implement recommendations for improvement
  • Proactive account management, including database creation & management, of existing and new catering clients
  • Actively pursue and secure partnerships that target our core catering audiences to establish repeat and referral business
  • Schedule and execute tasting appointments with potential partners to introduce our brand and products.
  • Partner with operations to ensure excellent execution of large catering events or initial events with key strategic partners
  • Establish a partnership with local District Managers and Store Managers and create collaborative processes to identify and maintain business opportunities and to drive sales growth
  • Forecast and track sales progress to anticipate and address opportunities

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of integrated local marketing plans aimed at increasing sales or elevating our guests brand experience
  • Partner with local District Managers to implement & execute local marketing initiatives. Audit marketing to recommend/implement improvements
  • Support local marketing tactics including events through ordering supplies and marketing collateral and offering coaching and training for team members
  • Support the field marketing team in broader initiatives including creative development, program creating/testing and philanthropic/ community program development and execution




  • Minimum 2 years of successful field sales experience with proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • Proficient with web-based programs and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM software such as SalesForce, Caterease, Delphi, etc. a plus
  • Proven ability to develop, nurture and maintain strong client relationships
  • Superior interpersonal skills with positive and driven attitude a must
  • Possess self-discipline to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Degree or some college preferred
